Visitor location
Content based on where your visitor is
What visitor location does
Country and city
Your page gets the visitor’s country, region and city, along with the time zone and the currency of their country.
Faster forms
Preset the country or city in a form, so the visitor has one thing less to type.
Notices that matter
Show a notice only where it makes sense, for example that you only deliver within your country.
No questions for the visitor
The location comes from the internet connection, so the browser asks the visitor for no permission and opens no popup.
Ideas to try
Pick an idea to start a new website with it, or type it in the chat of a website you already have.
Preset the country in the order form based on where the visitor comes from
Show a bar at the top for visitors outside our country saying that we ship abroad too
Show visitors the store in their own city first, if we have one there
For visitors from abroad, show our opening hours in their own time zone too
How to adapt your page by country
- 1
Step 1
Say what changes
Write in the chat what visitors should see based on where they are, for example a notice or the country preset in a form.
- 2
Step 2
The AI switches it on and builds it
The AI switches on visitor location and uses it only where something changes, not on every page view.
- 3
Step 3
Each lookup counts
Every website includes 1,000 lookups each month. A lookup is each time your page asks where a visitor is.
What it costs
Every website has its own amount each calendar month. You see the use in the site’s Power-ups tab.

1,000 lookups
After the included amount
≈ $1.14 (1 €) per 1,000 lookups
- On Premium with extra usage on, the power-up keeps going and you pay only for what is used.
- Without Premium, the power-up pauses until the next month.
Visitor location: frequently asked questions
The country is usually right, while the city is approximate, because it comes from the internet connection and not from GPS. Do not use it for anything that needs an exact address.
No. The location comes from the IP address of the connection, so the browser shows no permission prompt. Your page only looks it up where it uses it.

Yes. Your site’s functions can look up the location from the IP address of a request too, for example to save the country with an order.
No. We run the lookup with our own keys. You just tell the AI what should change based on the country.
