Address and domain

Manage the DNS of your domain without a second provider

Domains you buy in Website come with a full DNS editor. Point email to your provider, verify services with TXT records and tune the TTL, all from the Domains page.

What you get

  • Every common record type

Add A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX and CAA records, ANAME records at the root, and SRV or NS records on subdomains, each with the fields it needs.

  • Site records stay protected

Records that keep your site online are marked Protected and show which site uses them, so a quick edit never takes the website down by mistake.

  • One TTL for the domain

Choose how long servers keep your records before checking again, from one minute to one day, to spread changes faster or to reduce lookups.

How it works

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Open Domains

Go to the Domains page in the side menu and pick the domain you bought here.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Choose Manage DNS

Open the menu of the domain and choose Manage DNS to see every record with its type, name and value.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Add a record

Click Add record, pick the type, enter the name, such as @ or www, and the value, then save. The TTL decides how fast the change reaches everyone.

Frequently asked questions

Add the MX records your email provider gives you, plus the TXT records it uses for verification and SPF. They sit next to the records of your site, so the website and the mailbox share the same domain.
