Editing

The real code of your website, in an editor built for it

The Code view opens the actual files behind your site, the same ones the AI writes. Browse the folder tree, open several files in tabs and save your changes straight to the site.

What you get

  • A proper code editor

Syntax highlighting, a searchable file tree, up to 12 files open in tabs, the line and column you are on, and Save all for every unsaved file.

  • Create and organize files

Add a New file or a New folder, rename or delete files, and keep styles in the styles folder, scripts in the scripts folder and SVG files in assets.

  • Safe next to the AI

Editing pauses while the AI works, and if a file was changed somewhere else, you choose whether to keep your version or take the new one.

How it works

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Open Code

In the editor's left menu choose Code. The file tree lists every page, stylesheet and script of your site.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Edit a file

Click a file to open it in a tab and make your changes. Files the site cannot serve open in read only mode.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Save and check

Press Save or Save all, check the result in the preview on the Page tab, and press Publish when it looks right.
